PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT BACKGROUND

Chris Miller is the founding principal of Chris Miller Architecture, LLC. His architectural career began in 1994, encompassing formal education, early professional training, and more than two decades of licensed practice. Since attaining architectural licensure in the State of Florida in 2003, he has led projects across a wide range of scales and typologies, bringing depth, rigor, and continuity of experience to each commission.

From 1994 – 1998 Chris completed a dual Bachelors Degrees in Architecture and Science from Kent State University. During his formative years, 1995 – 2000, he completed internships with GSI and KZF, and worked under internationally recognized architects Zaha Hadid and Thom Mayne. These experiences shaped his disciplined and forward-looking design approach.

He founded his first firm in 2000, Metro Architects, and attained architectural licensure in 2003 in the State of Florida.

With over 1,500 completed projects to date, his depth of experience informs efficient, well-resolved design decisions at every stage of a project.

Chris approaches each project as an ordered response to the forces that shape it, creating spaces that are cohesive, intentional, and inherently legible. His practice spans scales—from conceptual investigations and kinetic systems to fully realized architectural projects—always integrating mechanical clarity into formal and spatial expression
